All walks listed here are open to the public and follow a sequence described on these links. Most cover 1 mile or less with invitations to connect closely with nature, ending with a forest tea ceremony. Please contact us to plan a private walk for yourself or your group.

Forest Bathing to Celebrate Earth Day

Mueller State Park

Day-after Earth Day walk in the quiet of mixed forest, meadow and beauty on a hidden ridge in magnificent Mueller. Perhaps we'll enjoy creating an ephemeral (nature) art gift as we unplug, unwind and deepen our relationship with the natural world. 1 mile. Meet at Outlook Ridge trailhead.

Mother Earth Forest Bathing Walk

Enjoy stepping out of the swirl of information and distraction and settle in to this glorious space, celebrating our grand Mother Earth and the web of creation that we share on this Mother's Day weekend.1 mile. Meet at Outlook Ridge trailhead.

Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument

 

For all Mueller & FFB walks: Ages 12 and up welcome. Dress for changing weather, bring small backpack and water. Offered at no charge with park admission ($9 per car) as a gift to the community. Donations requested to The Friends of Mueller State Park or The Friends of Florissant Fossil Beds.
