What Is Forest Bathing?: Resources

All walks listed here are open to the public and follow a sequence described on these links. Most cover 1 mile or less with invitations to connect closely with nature, ending with a forest tea ceremony. Please contact us to plan a private walk for yourself or your group.

Spring 2026 Forest Bathing/Shinrin-Yoku Walks
at Mueller State Park, Divide, CO

45 min.drive from downtown Co. Springs

Walks meet at Outlook Ridge Trailhead

just past Visitor Center​

Enjoy slow time immersing in the wonder & healing nature offers through this mindful, sensory based practice. Unplug & unwind at one of the state's most magnificent parks with creative invitations to quiet the thinking, awaken the senses & connect closely with yourself, others and the land. We close with a forest tea ceremony using plants carefully foraged from the area.

Bring backpack for hands free, optional sit pad, water, snacks & dress for the weather. 

Recommended ages 12  & up. ​

Offered free of charge with park admission ($10 per car) as a gift to the community. Donations requested to

Slow your pace & immerse your senses in a quiet space of juniper, pine & ancient rocks in the Garden of the Gods, the ancestral homeland of the Ute & other indigenous people. Unplug and deepen your connection with yourself & the natural world with joy, wonder & curiosity on this mindful 1.4 mile hike, closing with a forest tea ceremony using carefully foraged plants from the area.

Ages 12 & up welcome. $10 per person. Maximum 10 guests.
